The Best Bottomless Brunch in NYC

Brunch, or as is the case for most New Yorkers, boozy lunch, has a specific set of desires to quell every weekend. It’s not certain whether or not brunch is the reason weekends exist, or if weekends are the reason brunch exists, just be glad they both do. Brunch is one of the rare occasions where day drinking is not only encouraged, but also not harshly judged but establishments or strict societal standards. Now add a bottomless option. So, whether or not you want to just drink enough to gently make your friends and loved ones raise an eyebrow, or you are bound and determined to continuously search for the bottom of your mimosa glass, The Winslow is the spot for your next brunch destination.

Searching out and discovering the best bottomless brunch spots in New York City is practically an extreme sport for many New Yorkers. Sure, you want the best possible eggs benedict you can find, but also the option to drown in mimosas. Enter The Winslow. The Winslow’s brunch is one of the best in the East Village and Gramercy neighborhoods. They serve brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11am-4pm (and on most holiday Mondays from 12pm-4pm). With the purchase of any of their amazing brunch entrées there is the option to add bottomless mimosas for an hour and a half for only $15 more. If you are merely looking to day drink a la carte, they also offer a $4 bloody mary or $4 mimosa option with entrée purchase.

The brunch menu, created by Executive Chef Nathan Pauley, is carefully curated and filled with brunch classics as well as dishes inspired by both American and British influences. From the full Irish Breakfast, to the Chicken and Waffles, to the Pudgy Pancake there is something delicious for everyone. Eggs: check; bacon: check; bottomless mimosas: check!

In some crowds, brunch can get a bad reputation. Amateur hour for the Beckys and the Chads if you will. This is not to say that some bottomless brunch options in the city aren’t comprised of buffet style slop and college students puking in the bushes out front, but The Winslow definitely has a better way to bottomlessly brunch. Yes, there is a way to day drink and still be an adult—sometimes you truly can have it all. There is no grain alcohol in the punch bowl or instant rubber eggs served with a side of sadness. The Winslow has rebuilt brunch and made it stronger. The food is delicious as are the mimosas and rest of their offerings from the unique and delectable cocktail menu. Even if you don’t want to go bottomless if champagne and orange juice isn’t your bag, The Winslow has a full bar as well as over forty different styles and brands of gin. There is something for everyone. The specialty cocktail menu, designed by Beverage Director and General Manager Cait Moorhead explores many unique combinations of gins, spirits, vermouths and botanicals. They, along with any brunch tipple, are well worth the risk of the dread day-drinking hangover.

The Winslow, conveniently located on 14th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue, is a great find for many reasons, but especially when you want the decision to be easy early (and by early it is obviously implied to be well after noon) on a Saturday or Sunday. No one is thinking their clearest until they have some coffee, whatever vehicle they put maple syrup or brown butter hollandaise sauce on, and a bloody mary (in whichever order is most pressing to that individual and the day they are looking to have). So take the question out of where to brunch and come to The Winslow. Brunch at The Winslow has unlimited potential and bottomless possibilities.
